Biodiversity
Our forest continues to grow
At the Stadthotel Münster, we are committed to the environment and biodiversity. Guests who choose not to have their rooms cleaned allow us to plant a tree in their name. Guests can also voluntarily take part in our tree planting campaign. We have already planted over 2,000 trees to protect nature and promote biodiversity. In total, we have planted over 12,000 trees with the support of our guests.
Good to know...
For example, one newly planted tree offsets a distance of 232 km travelled by car. Two trees would already compensate for 2 to 3 overnight stays in a hotel.
Regionality
At Stadthotel Münster, we attach great importance to regional products that offer our guests an authentic flavour experience. By working with these local producers, we are proud to reflect the diversity of the Münsterland region in our gastronomic selection and at the same time promote the regional economy.
The regional products include
Potatoes from the Greiwing farm, egg and poultry specialities from Beitelhoff, fresh rolls and cakes from the Frede bakery, liba kola and liba lemonades, beer from the ‘Pinkus’ Müller brewery and spirits from the Sasse distillery.
Mobility
Our guests therefore have the opportunity to conveniently charge their electric vehicle at one of two charging points while they are staying with us. You also have the option of safely storing e-bikes in the underground car park and charging the batteries in secure compartments. We have a limited number of bicycles available for guests who want to go on a spontaneous bike tour in Münster. Alternatively, bikes can also be hired directly from us via the Münsterlandrad app. If all the bikes are already taken, the Münster bike station is not far away.
